Providing funds for Connecticut Firefighters seeking out Technical Rescue training opportunities.

Raymond "Tim" Nobes, the honorary Rescue Coordinator of the Town of Ridgefield, was a member of Ridgefield Professional Firefighters from 2001 until his retirement in 2021.  Tim was a subject matter expert in Technical Rescue and worked tirelessly to improve the rescue capabilities and proficiency of his brothers and sisters in the department.  In 2021 Tim was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  While undergoing an extremely aggressive treatment regimen he continued to work with our department to develop, coordinate, and deliver Technical Rescue Training programs.

The Mission of the Raymond T. Nobes Fire Rescue Training Fund is to proliferate the dedication and spirit of our brother Tim by providing funding to Connecticut Firefighters seeking out Technical Rescue training.
